COMMUNITY CLEAN UP

In conjunction with the Town of North Hempstead, the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce (MCOC) will host its annual Community Clean-Up Day. This year, the Chamber has also invited local businesses, chamber members, and community organizations to share information about preserving our environment and protecting our town.
The Sidewalk Sweep will unite community members, working together to clean up trash, weed the plantings and sweep the debris from the sidewalks. The Town of North Hempstead will supply Gloves and Trash Bags.
All are welcome, Business Teams, Schools, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Local Organizations, Residents and more.
Meet the Manhasset Chamber on April 22nd (Earth Day) Time 3:50-6:00 PM at Mary Jane Davies Green
- Check-in between 3:50-4:15 PM
- Group Photo at 4:20 PM
- 5:15-5:30 - Drop off collected bags at MJD Gazebo
- 5:30-6:00 – Sign out, Community Service Hours signatures
Volunteers may bring their own brooms. Gloves and Trash Bags will be provided. Clean-up locations on Plandome Rd, local Park, Train Station, Northern Blvd, etc.
