The Manhasset Chamber of Commerce is busier than ever planning events for this upcoming year and thrilled to bring back “Big Community Clean-up” as part of the Great Global Cleanup on Earth Day, April 22nd in addition to the Manhasset Al Fresco summer event.
On Earth Day, the Chamber is leading a community clean up day. Store owners will receive brooms to sweep and maintain the front of their shops to help maintain beautification. Student organizations and residents are invited and encouraged to join too. The Great Global Cleanup is a worldwide campaign to remove billions of pieces of trash from neighborhoods, beaches, rivers, lakes, trails, and parks — reducing waste and plastic pollution, improving habitats, and preventing harm to wildlife and humans. This program aims to continue clean ups every day of the year for a brighter, greener, and cleaner planet and the Chamber is bringing it to Manhasset.
The Manhasset Chamber is working hard to make Manhasset a wonderful place to reside and we urge residents to get involved in the community, shop local and consider becoming a part of the chamber through a beautification membership. Remember plandome road belongs to all of you not just a handful of businesses. Things don’t just happen by wishing that “they ought to”, things happen because you make it happen. Think globally, act locally.
In June, the Chamber will kick-off Manhasset Al Fresco, a series of two outdoor dining and shopping events throughout the summer, featuring local businesses. The event will allow for road closures for pedestrians and outdoor dining on Plandome Road. The Manhasset community is invited to stroll on Plandome Road in a safe and festive atmosphere.
The Manhasset Chamber of Commerce will provide photo opportunities, giveaways and raffles by Shop Manhasset. Bring the kids to “Chalk the Town.” In order to bring awareness and promote Manhasset Beautification to the community, children will be given chalk to draw pictures and inspirational quotes to decorate the sidewalks of Manhasset!
The Manhasset Chamber encourages all to come out to support this great community event and support our local businesses. Shop Local, Eat Local, Enjoy Local.
In the Fall, the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Trick-or-Treat Halloween on Plandome Road! This event is a free community event scheduled to take place in October. To create a festive atmosphere, the chamber will decorate the floral planters on Plandome Rd. with Halloween decorations again, in preparation leading up to this event.
Immediately following the kickoff party, kids will Trick or Treat at participating merchants along Plandome Road in costumes!

Participate in Manhasset Chamber's Community Clean-Up Day! Help us keep Manhasset beautiful!
In conjunction with the Town of North Hempstead, the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce (MCOC) and the Greater Manhasset Civic Association will be hosting it's annual Community Clean-Up day.
The Sidewalk Sweep will unite community members, working together to clean up trash, weed the plantings and sweep the debris from the sidewalks. The Town of North Hempstead will supply Gloves and Trash Bags to all the participants and the Chamber will provide re-usable Tote Bags with design created by logo contest winner!
All are welcome, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Local Organizations, Residents and more. Great opportunity for Community Service Hours and Business team-building. Get involved in your community!

Flower & Vegetable Seed Fundraiser. Proceeds will go to Manhasset Beautification, come support to beautify our town!

MANHASSET AL FRESCO
This year Manhasset Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its "lift up local" annual summer series of 4 nights out on the town! Bringing outdoor dining, shopping and live entertainment on Plandome Road, a great event for all residents and non residents to enjoy while supporting local businesses. As such, our event Manhasset Al Fresco will be held once a month on Sunday nights, including an outdoor movie night.
It will be extraordinary!

Grab a costume and adventure through Plandome Road for some Trick or Treat Fun at particating merchants!
Free Trick or Treat tote filled with goodies to the first 150 kids! Kick-off party at 1PM.
