With almost three centuries of ministry in the Manhasset area, Community Reformed Church is one of Long Island's cornerstone congregations. We are also a congregation of the Reformed Church in America, the oldest protestant denomination in the Americas.

KYRA'S CHAMPIONS

Kyra’s Champions is a charity advocating for policy and legislative changes that promote and protect children at risk of family violence.
We raise awareness about the dangers to children, inside and outside our divorce/family court system, and seek changes in the way family violence and child abuse are addressed in child custody cases.
Kyra’s Champions was founded by Jacqueline Franchetti in memory of her sweet, vibrant, loving 28-month old daughter Kyra, who, in July 2016 during a court-sanctioned unsupervised visit, was shot twice in the back while she slept by her father, who then set his house on fire and killed himself in a murder-suicide.

THE MANHASSET WOMEN'S COALITION AGAINST BREAST CANCER

MWCABC's mission is to fund innovative research, increase awareness through education and provide support services to those with breast cancer and related diseases.
MWCABC participates in various fundraisers throughout the year and hosts several signature events, including our Ladies’ Night Out, 5K Family Walk/Run and Mix & Mingle couples event. Through these and other MWCABC events, we have succeeded in awarding almost $4 million in grants to breast cancer programs and organizations.
MWCABC also provides resources and services for those touched by breast cancer through our Outreach Program.
MWCABC’s success has been made possible through the dedication and determination of our talented volunteer members.

Manhasset library card holders have 24/7 access to ebooks, audiobooks, movies and tv, magazines, foreign language learning, research tools and more, that can be viewed, streamed or downloaded.

THE TOWER FOUNDATION OF MANHASSET

The Tower Foundation of Manhasset, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 1991 by members of the Manhasset community to enrich the educational experience of the students of the Manhasset schools. The Tower Foundation was created in response to a simultaneous decline in state funding to the Manhasset school district and increase in its school age population. Its goal is to raise funds from the private sector, including individuals, families, and businesses, and distribute these funds as grants to the Manhasset Public Schools.
